Food & Drink - A Free Seminar in Edinburgh on March 3rd

To mark the Year of Food & Drink, EventScotland has organised a free seminar to explore ways in which the events and food and drink industries can strengthen links to deliver high-quality food and drink experiences for visitors to Scottish events.
The Food and Drink Industry Seminar will be held at EventScotland’s offices at Ocean Point One, 94 Ocean Drive, Edinburgh on Thursday, March 3rd. Places are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Arriving at 10am for a 10.30am start, event organisers and representatives from the food and drink sector will benefit from hearing case studies of existing best practice within both industries.
To secure your place simply send an email to Michelle McCracken with ‘Food & Drink Seminar’ in the subject. If there’s someone else in your organisation who should attend please pass this invitation on.
If you have any questions please contact Michelle McCracken at EventScotland by email: Michelle.McCracken@eventscotland.org  or telephone 0131 472 2354.

From LEAF
The LEAF Integrated Farm Management Day – March 21, 2011
This day, at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, has been designed by LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming) for College and University lecturers and their farm managers, trainers and students on the development of Integrated Farm Management (IFM) and sustainable food and farming. In particular the day will highlight some of the opportunities for your education establishment through using LEAF management tools.
The day will focus on LEAF’s work and highlight where some of our member Colleges and Universities have benefited from working with LEAF. There will be a lot of emphasis on sustainability and an insight to some of the technical, market and political changes. The day should prove to be extremely interesting and information and we do hope you will be able to join us.
There will be a charge of £24 (£29 + VAT) for LEAF members and £60 (£50 = VAT) for non members. The day is registered as an activity during Climate Week (March 21-27, 2011).
To book, contact evelyn.see@leafuk.org or telephone 024 7641 3911 by March 7. www.leafuk.org
